FREDERICK A. BURTON JR. M.D. | BOARD CERTIFIED FAMILY PRACTICE



Dr. Burton is originally from Philadelphia, PA where he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University. He later when on to Temple University School of Medicine where he completed his medical school degree. Dr. Burton was accepted into the Family Practice Residency program at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since completion of his residency, he has resided in the Middle Georgia area with his wife and family and has been serving the Macon and middle Georgia community for over 25 years.


Currently, he has active privileges at all the major hospitals in Macon as well as other hospitals throughout Georgia where he periodically practices emergency medicine. As an active, board-certified family medicine doctor and a certified nursing home medical director, he sees patients at his practice location in Macon and Warner-Robbins as well as serving as an attending physician at two Macon nursing homes.
